About "On the Edge" Film Festival
The “On the Edge” Family Film Festival will stimulate the creative talent of aspiring and professional filmmakers and provide a venue to express their voice through the cinematic arts. We will inspire and challenge the local community by providing films that enlighten, entertain and educate.

Feature:
Storytelling that educates and inspires as well as entertains. You are asking your audience to invest a certain amount of their life to watch the sum of your passion… what will they take away from the experience? (live action or animated)
Specifics: minimum of 60 minutes and meet “On the Edge” film festival rules, terms and guidelines
Documentary:
Blend insightful probing of the truth with creative expression that best tells the story it uncovers. The category is not an editorial as much as an insight that allows the viewer to come to their own objective conclusion. The truth of the subject should educate and challenge the viewer as it is revealed. Present your case through well-documented facts and dramatic images. (live action or animated)

*Student categories will be held to the same guidelines as the other entrants, but judged separately. For this contest students are college undergraduates and below.
